Baikal tour (8 hours)

The whole trip takes 8 hours, while the way from Irkutsk to Listvyanka takes 1 hour and half (as well as the way from Listvyanka to Irkutsk). During this tour you visit settlement Listvyanka situated on the bank of the great lake Baikal. You will see Nikolskaya church, the mole, sight square opposite Shaman stone, you can also visit the Baikal museum (entrance ticket cost is not included in total cost if excursion with the museum is not booked).

Not far from Listvyanka, almost in centre of Angara you can see Shaman-stone. According to the legend, Baikal-father threw a stone behind his daughter Angara who ran away to handsome Yenisey. So that stone is on that place. The Shaman-stone received its name due to Shamans of Buryatia, who used it as the place for carrying out their ceremonies. For example, shamans bounded a person suspected in crime for a night, if a person was alive on morning he was considered innocent.

Lunch cost is not included in the cost of Baikal sightseeing tour, but it can be arranged in restaurant of Listvyanka by request for additional payment in the restaurant.

Baikal tour has three variants:

1. without museums;

2. with one museum (tourist can choose Baikal museum or wooden architecture museum - Taltsy);

3. with two museums (Baikal museum + "Taltsy" *see the information below).

Taltsy museum (4 hours)

The tour to Ethnography museum of wooden architecture takes 4 hours and you will spend two of them on the way from Irkutsk and on the way back.

Listvyanka walking tour

Tour takes 3 hours, and it is recommended to the tourists who stay in Listvyanka.

There are two variants of tour, in dependence of tourists` age and activity:

1. visiting settlement Listvyanka itself (its central part, ship mole, souvenir shop; short walking along bank of the lake);

2. visiting of sight square opposite Shaman stone + visiting Chersky peak. This variant is suitable for active tourists, because it implies durative walking (both sight squares are far from each other). There is a beautiful view of Baikal lake opened to tourists` sight from sight square "Chersky stone".

Tourists can choose the route being in Listvyanka.

Irkutsk sightseeing (3 hours)

During three hours walking you can visit the oldest part of the city - the place of its foundation, which spreads along Angara quay, Siberian warriors fame memorial and look at the most beautiful churches of the city: Spasskaya church, Polsky Kostel, Znamensky Cathedral, which is the place where "Russian Columbus" - Grigory Shelekhov was buried. Entrance to the church is not included, but it is possible to enter the church if you pay on the place. You will see the outstanding Siberian memorial. During the sightseeing tour you will have the opportunity to make a close acquaintance with the culture, climate and the history of severe Siberia.

You can do city sightseeing by foot or by car. Sightseeing by car gives tourists the opportunity to visit more places in the city. During excursion by foot tourists can use a public transport, but they should pay themselves.

Irkutsk sightseeing + museum (4 hours)

During 3 hour sightseeing tour you will visit ONE museum you choose:

1. One of the oldest World museums in Irkutsk - is Regional museum, founded by academician Eric Lacksman in 1782, will help you to know about multiplicity of people and tribes living in Siberia.

2. Irkutsky guberniya was one of the places where Decembrists (participants of revolt against Tsar Nicolay the First) lived. If you visit Decembrists` museum you will know much about Decembrists and their input to cultural development of Siberia. If you want, after the sightseeing tour you will be offered concert of Russian romance, characteristic of 19th century, and after the concert you will be offered Champagne.

3. If you are fond of art, we can recommend you to visit the museum of Art in Irkutsk where you can see paintings by both Russian and foreign artists.

4. The richest collection of minerals is exposed in Irkutsk Mineralogical Museum.

5. If you visit the museum of nature, you will know much about Siberian flora and fauna.

Night Irkutsk (2 hours)

During 2hour trip guests can visit central streets of night city, walk along Angara quays, visit casino, night club or restaurant (costs of tickets to casino, restaurant or night club are not included in the cost of trip). It is desirable to start tour at 23:00 on summer, when it becomes dark in the city. It is dark in Irkutsk at 18:00 on winter, so tourists can go for a walking along the night city after that time. If tourists wish to visit casino or night club, it would be better to go later, for example at 23:00, because entertaining programs usually start at 23:00-00:00.
