Livadiiskaya mountain (Pidan or Pedan) located in Shkotovsky district is part of the Livadiyskiy range. Pidan or Pedan is the unofficial name of Mountain Livadiiskaya. The beautiful mountain is one of the highest peaks of Primorsky region. Its height is 1332 meters. Path leads to the top of the mountain through picturesque places. You will see real taiga - old cedars and firs, magic oaks-warlocks and reserved Amur velvet tree, surprising variety of coniferous and hardwood trees twined round with lianas. There are some forests with yew, devil-club and ginseng on the sides. Rapid taiga stream with ideally pure water has the nice rapids.
Pidan is famous for its boulders on the peak. Chzhur chzhen (people that lived on the territory of our region in the Middle Ages) believed that the God made the mountain stacked a huge stones. There are many questions about formation of the mountain, but scienti can not reply to its. Pidan is a magic mountain, not similar to any others. People from the whole world arrive to visit it.
